hi groups ... Thanks for the many responses to my bird ID ...

to summarize ---

consensus is the Chickadee is not a Carolina, but just the
Black-capped, with each response giving good information about
Black-caps versus Carolinas ...

the Sparrow however became interesting ... three various suggestions
were given, all suggesting juvenile birds, and included the Chipping
Sparrow, Dickcissel, and White-throated Sparrow ... within a couple
of days I hope to sit down and sort through all the reasonings as to
why folks suggested which bird, and I'll post results here ...
meanwhile, I joined the Ohio bird-list and posted the Sparrow image
to them ... will be interesting to see what folks back there have to say ...
