Mary,
It seems that my local Band-tailed Pigeons here in Twin Lakes -
Federal Way are not migratory since I have them year round - anywhere
from 10 to 20 and more at a time. Since the cost of black sunflower
seed has almost doubled, I am considering to list them as dependents
on my tax return! Seems they had good breeding success, since at least
half of them are juveniles. Unfortunately for one of them, the local
Cooper's Hawk invited himself for dinner a couple of weeks ago...
