Point Wilson, 10-30-08, time 1500-1630, cloudy skies, calm seas, temp 52,
high incoming tide

I got good views of a single Yellow-billed Loon coming out of breeding
plumage for about an hour. With many images of this bird at a distance of
200 yards or more with a 600 mm lens+1.4 TC on a 1.3 crop camera =1092mm or
21.9X I will be back today to see if I am lucky enough to see it again. You
can see one image of the yellow-billed Loon on my flickr site.
