As of 7:20 am our yard HAWK OWL was still here.



Interesting notes:

When it got dark it went to roost.

It was uncomfortably hot yesterday. Panting & holding wings
out a bit. Our high was 61 degrees. Yet it never sought shade. It's
supposed to be a bit cooler with some clouds today.

Our yard owl list is now up to 7 with GHO, Long-eared,
Short-eared, Pygmy, Saw-whet, Barred & Hawk Owl. Screech should be found
someday. Barn is unlikely.
