Hi, Tweets

Turkey vultures are on the move, slowly right
now, but through the month, there should be some
large counts?even over Seattle. Don't forget to

6 at the mouth of the Klickitat River; 2-3 at
Jackson Beach, 3 at Cattle Point, at least 10

Camp and Friday Harbor ? all on San Juan Island

As always, a ??? means no number was given; on
the other hand the two mentions of ?large
numbers? and ?many? near Sooke, B.C. refer to
hundreds of birds. They fly in huge numbers back
and forth along Vancouver Island?s west coast
until just the right moment to take off and cross
the strait. It?s quite a sight! And even more
impressive to watch them come in to the Washington coast at Salt Creek .

Cheers, Diann
