Hi Tweeters,

Audible nocturnal migration over my yard in Battle Ground, Clark County
continues.

9/1pm - 9/2am

Swainson's Thrush 56
Yellow Warbler 2
sparrow 8
warbler/vireo 7

9/2pm - 9/3am

Swainson's Thrush 35
Yellow Warbler 2

9/3pm - 9/4am

Swainson's Thrush - at least 325 (2-4 birds per minute from 11pm to 1am and
then pulses of 5-10 birds every ten minutes or so after that)
Yellow Warbler 8
Wilson's Warbler 1
warbler/vireo 25
Savannah Sparrow 2
White-crowned Sparrow 1
sparrow sp 8

I've been listening for Evening Grosbeaks each morning. On September 2,
there was one that flew over. On Wednesday, a group of 4 and tody, a flock
of 17 flying south. There have been several Western Tanagers around each
morning along with miscellaneous Yellow Warbllers and a single
Orange-crowned Warbler.

Keep your eyes skyward.

JIm
