The 2 Stilt Sandpipers are still at the Mint Farm mitigation ponds at Longview as of Noon today. Other birds noted are 1 Western Sandpiper, 2 Least Sandpipers, Vaux's Swifts, Downy Woodpecker, both Steller's and Western Scrub Jays, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Black-capped Chickadee, Bewick's Wren, many Savannah Sparrows and Common Yellowthroats, Violet-green and Barn Swallows, American Goldfinches, 6 Turkey Vultures all in one kettle passing through and more of the commoner birds.

Go west on Hwy 432 past the Weyerhaeuser Mill and turn north onto Prudential Blvd. Turn right onto Crocker Ave. You can park in the PUD substation area off the pavement. Walk northeast across large tall grassy field from the northern end of Crocker Ave.(takes about 10 mins to walk across field) to the mitigation ponds.
