Subject: [Tweeters] Seattle Solitary Sandpiper

Greetings, all,

Many birders combed Seattle's Montlake Fill this morning, but no rare
sparrows were found. Evan Houston and I did see a brief visit by a
SOLITARY SANDPIPER as well as a GREEN HERON in the main pond. Many
VAUX'S SWIFTS and smaller numbers of BARN SWALLOWS were constantly
overhead, joined once by a few VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS.

Cheers,

Alan Grenon
