Hello Tweeties,

yesterday's mystery bird was a Clapper Rail, Rallus longirostris. several readers asked for a sound file to aid their ID, and i tried to find one to help you, but could not (well, i found a couple, but they all started with a narrator announcing the bird's ID before playing the call, which i was trying to avoid). sorry about that.

today's mystery bird should be a little easier for you to ID;

a reader asked me to run some mystery birds from overseas species, so if anyone has some bird images they'd like to share with a large and appreciative audience from an overseas trip they've made, feel free to let me know.

cheers,
