A Peterson's Field Guide to Western Birds was found in the middle of

North Wenas/Umtanum Road a few weeks back.



Handwritten in the front is Dunsher/Mullins 1992. The owner was checking

off species in the back of the book as well as making notes on sightings,

such as Wilson's Warbler, Palouse Falls. The finder is thinking the owner

may value the checklist and notes more than the book itself.
