Subject: [Tweeters] Adams County Golden-Plover

Tweets - Ken Knittle and I had stopped at the Hatton STP about two hours before Randy but we did not see the Plover. There were three Bairds Sandpipers, an American Pipit and dozens of Killdeer. Ran into Randy at Lyons Ferry and got the Plover news from him. Hatton was on our return trip and we made the stop but the Plover was gone as of 1 p.m. Saturday. The Bairds Sandpipers, however, were still there.

Subject: [Tweeters] Adams County Golden-Plover

Hi Tweets,

Randy Hill just called to report a Golden-Plover at the Hatton Coulee Rest
Area (at the intersection of SR-26 & US-395) STP. Randy was unsure of the
species, but his description points to American Golden-Plover. If you are in
the area this is a great bird for Adams County and a very good bird anywhere
is eastern Washington.

Cheers
