Today I joined Patricia Lott and Allan Lincoln for some birding
in the Longview area. Our best birds were a LEWIS' WOODPECKER on the
north side of Willow Grove, about halfway down the island. At the
Longview wastewater lagoons at the intersection of Highway 4 and Coal
Creek Rd. there was an adult EARED GREBE still in breeding plumage.
