Hello All:
This weekend Steve Mlodinow and I escaped to the relatively dry, though overcast
and windy Columbia Basin. Steve has already posted on most of our finds from
Saturday, though I thought I'd mention we had an imm Golden Eagle soaring at Sentinel
Bluffs early in the morning.

This morning, Sunday, we started at Washtucna at 0730. I thought it would
be interesting to include the full list of species for the location, as it was a rather

Between the two Washtucna visits, we birded Lyons Ferry Park. The place
was pretty slow in comparison to Washtucna, but I did see a BLACKPOLL WARBLER
lift off out of the indigobrush and continue flying south until it disappeared over
the hill. Also here was "the" Hairy Woodpecker.

Cheers
