a trip to the Upper Grand Coulee was a bit slow, but a few birds of note
were located.

Soap Lake had 7 SANDERLING and a juve SABINE"S GULL both picking at brine
flies along the shoreline. A MERLIN strafed the beach putting up all of the
shorebirds. which included Least, Western, and a couple of Pectoral
Sandpipers and plethora of Killdeer

Lake Lenore had a good assortment of waterbirds, but nothing totally
unexpected, with the exception of a late Cinnamon Teal with a small group of
Blue-winged Teal.

The Upper Coulee was exceptionally quiet with a few common warblers and
quite a few kinglets of both species. Also present were good numbers of
Lincoln's Sparrows.

The Coulee City STP had a single 1w FRANKLIN'S GULL and 6 Red-necked
Phalaropes among the usual denizens.
