Sous-Anna has been very active today, preening a lot and occasionally
whirring her wings hummingbird-style while sitting in the nest. Mother is
still feeding her at the nest, but I often hear her (or perhaps another
h'bird) squeaking and squealing nearby, and I wonder if she may be calling
to the chick to encourage it to take wing?
