Hi all:

We are all being challenged in this strange economy and it has done so in an
unexpected way to our festival. In a way to garner more business, the
charter bus industry got a bill passed that took effect Jan 1st. It prevents
using free busing, even to non-profit events unless we just can't get anyone
else. As a result, our scrawny budget is taking a hit we didn't plan on and
we may have to cancel some of our field trips unless they have enough
passengers to justify the trip.

Right now our Saturday, April 25th Ocean Shores trip is hurting, and
Saturday's Tokeland Photo Tour needs 10 more people. So if you have been
waiting to plan your field trip, please send in your registration so we can
plan ahead for the buses.
