Greetings all



I birded/butterflied w/ Charlie Wright yesterday on the east side around the Vantage/Quilomene/Reecer Creek Road area. Nothing of great note, but did have some nice photographic opportunities with Sheridan's Hairstreaks, Sage Thrashers and a cooperative Northern Pygmy-Owl.


It was nice to see butterflies again after this loooooong hard winter.

We also went over to Okanogan and Douglas Counties a few weekends back to see the Sage Grouse Lek at Leahy (which was impressive as usual) and spent a bit of time around Havillah/Chesaw. Mostly the same stuff everyone else has been reporting.

Our first Westport Seabirds trip of the year is coming up on April 25th, so if you are jiving to get out and see some tubenoses like I am, come on out!
