Today I also heard Purple Finches singing in Renton Highlands for the first time this spring. What a nice sound to go along with the warm rays of the long anticipated sunshine! :)

Hey Tweets,

Leaving St Stephen's in Kent, I heard Purple Finches singing. From home, I had house finches, pine siskins, and my first RED CROSSBILLS from the yard. Good flock of 30 or so spent several hours outside this morning, giving me some good views as they hit the conifers in the neighborhood.

Also saw my first butterfly of the year. (an orange one... oh dear, I don't know my butterflies!) as well as a few bees.
