Recent arrivals along upper Scatter Ck. east of Tenino:

April 3 - Greater Yellowlegs
April 4 - singing Savannah Sparrow
April 6 - multiple male Common Yellowthroats

And: A Wilson's Snipe has been displaying in flight around 8 p.m. for a couple of weeks. Tree and Violet-green Swallows in droves around our 25+ nest boxes. Now have 7 hummingbird feeders up to try and keep up with the demand by Rufous Hummingbirds. There appear to be 5 different male display territories around the house and adjacent buildings.
