This afternoon just after 5:00pm, along East Sprague just east of Molter Road near the golf course pond in Liberty Lake, I had the Great-tailed Grackle fly over the road in front of me. It landed on the grass of the golf course and allowed some awesome looks and hopefully photos.

When I was living in Liberty Lake last summer, I was told about this bird and desperately wanted to see it. Well, I never saw it last summer, but at least I found it this year! The iridescence on this bird is unreal. Nice way to get a life bird!
