Here in north Mason County southwest of Belfair rufous hummingbirds are much more numerous this Spring than last year. I have three males and two female rufous and a pair of Anna's hummingbirds about. The territorial behavior is continuous from dawn to dusk. I can't wait to see what it will be like when the young start showing up in a couple more months. Good thing sugar was on sale this past week.
