Clear DayFYI - the osprey is back at the Newport baseball fields in Issaquah. They have successfully nested on top of one of the field lights for the last couple years, & it looks like they will try again this year.

First sighting of rufous hummingbird in my yard yesterday. I live on Squak Mt. at about 1500 ft., so it takes a little longer for the spring birds to arrive - the salmonberries are just starting to bloom. Also had a pine siskin & an unidentified finch visited the feeders. Looks like the migration has finally arrived.
