Hi Tweets....a few updates on this year's festival:

We still have openings for all events, with the closest to selling out being
the Friday Tokeland/Grayland/Westport trip, the Saturday Pt Grenville trip,
and the Sunday Westport trip. There is still time to sign up for Nate
Chappell's Saturday lecture on The Art of Shorebird Photography and the
accompanying Tokeland Photo Workshop Field Trip (limited to 12).

Our apologies to Scott Morrison for neglecting to list his ever-popular
Shorebirds for Beginners Field Trip to Saturday's line-up (in the brochure)
that immediately follows his Shorebird Identification lecture; these have
always been a favorite of festival-goers and all six of us proofing missed
this glaring error.

A reminder that the Keynote Speaker this year is Hoquiam's own Dan Varland,
PhD. His power point presentation on Raptors of the Washington Coast is
guaranteed to provide an interesting evening. Since 1995 he and his
volunteers have been capturing and banding Peregrine Falcons, and now he has
added the study of the growing population of Bald Eagles on our coast.

Come on out to the coast and experience the spring shorebird migration. We
hope to see you.
