I got positive ID on a Red Naped Sapsucker perched on a tree today for about 30 minutes tearing apart the bark on a tree. This was South Cle Elum up in near Westside Rd. Through binos I could see about 4 or 5 round sap wells but it spent most of the time tearing apart a large square area of bark.
