On my way over the west Seattle bridge at noon today, for the first time this year I noted an Osprey on the nest on the west-central light post between the West Seattle Bridge and the Ash Grove Cement towers. Its back was dark, I imagine from tanning in the California or Mexican sun.

If you're looking for the ospreys there drive carefully.
