Hi Tweeters,

For those that might be interested, the adult female peregrine that we tagged in Chile last month, "Island Girl", is now heading north on her migration, presumably to the arctic. She just passed the city of La Serena in central Chile and is just moving into the Atacama Desert region.
To follow her migration, go to the usual place, www.frg.org, and click on the Southern Cross Peregrine Project. Downloading Google Earth to your machine will enhance your experience.
The third tagged falcon, Elizabetha, is still at the Putu Dunes but should start moving north at any time.
