Hello fellow Tweeters!

I am new to birding this spring, so please forgive any breaches of protocol, etc in this posting.
This evening (4/15/09 7pmI was visiting Carkeek Park in North Seattle, and saw a hawk-like bird that I believe may be a juvenile Cooper's Hawk?
Looking in my Sibley Guide and birdweb.org, that's probably the closest match... however the biggest discrepancy is that this bird that I saw had what appeared to be big white spots on the tips of its secondary coverts.

I was able to snap a few pictures of it, and posted them online at http://www.flickr.com/photos/10136838 at N02/sets/72157616837133632/detail/

If anybody is able to help me identify the species, I would be very grateful.

Warmest Regards,
Jon
