Hi Tweeters,

Just an update on migration as seen from my yard in Battle Ground, Clark
County (all First of Years):

April 15: Barn Swallow - 2
April 16: Tree Swallow - 4 (battling with the Violet-Green Swallows and
House Sparrows for bird house occupancy)
Golden-crowned Sparrow - 1
April 17: Orange-crowned Warbler - 2
Turkey Vulture - 2
April 18: Green Heron - 1 (eventually landed on my neighbor's roof which
looked kinda strange)
Great Blue Heron - 2
Lincoln's Sparrow - 1 (briefly at the seed on the deck)
White-crowned Sparrow (Gambel's) - 2

Migration has been very slow here so far with only 3 Yellow-rumped Warblers,
no kinglets, no grosbeaks.

Keep your eyes and ears skyward.

Jim
