Subject: [Tweeters] Bowerman Basin Warb. Mini Fallout (no rarities)

Today (Sat., April 18) from 12:15pm to 1:00pm a fairly decent size flock of
warblers flew into a tree in which I was watching a male RUFOUS HUMMER
feeding. Here's the breakdown:
37 YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS
34 Myrtles
3 Audubon's
14 ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLERS
In addition to warblers, there were 3 BEWICK'S WRENS and 1 HUTTON'S VIREO.
The birds seemed to prefer the trees within 150 ft. of the intersection of
Paulson Rd. and Airport Way, along both roads.
Good birding, Mike
