HI Tweeters,

This morning at 8:30, my feeder in Battle Ground, Clark County was visited
by two subadult male Lesser Goldfinches. I'm always surprised to see this
species in my yard and this is the third consecutive year. Previous FOY
dates have been 4/7/07 and 4/11/08. I have yet to see this species
elsewhere in Washington State - maybe I need to get out more often. There
was also a Barn Owl calling in the wee hours this morning.
