A curious going on here in interior Alaska with some of our owls. Here is an interesting and quick read.

I must say that I'm jonesing to get back to Washington, all the spring bird activity down there is making me a little crazy! Today I did see the first set of ptarmigan tracks this year, I'm 6 miles north of the coastline out in the Arctic ocean. There isn't a weed or shrub for miles so it makes it that more interesting.
