Last week I visited Malheur Nwr in Oregon, Ruby Lake NWR in Nevada and Bear River migratory Bird Refuge in Utah. I took over 1100 photos with enough good ones I can't post them all at once as I usually do. I put a few on tonight and will do a few at a time over the next week or so. I will try to keep them so that the most recent post will be first in gallery.

I went with Sage Grouse, Black-crowned Night Heron, and White-faced Ibis being my main targets and they were all willing? subjects this time. There were also many more familiar birds that seemed friendlier than usual. The weather was great even though I started out from here in the rain and passed through some snow on the way. The snow covered the mountains in Neveda right down to the valley floors but not much in the valleys making for some nice scenery, which I only took one picture of. I don't know why but I couldn't find convenient places to stop.

as usual the new post are and will be here: http://www.pbase.com/jvhigbee/c_current
