Birders,

I have just finished posting some bird photos taken over the last couple of
months in WA and BC on my Flickr page at
http://www.flickr.com/photos/wcweber .

Some of these were taken on a couple of short trips to Eastern Washington
last month, and others were taken not far from my home in Delta, BC. Most
of them are of common species, but there are a few local rarities: the
well-reported YELLOW-BILLED LOON near Chief Joseph Dam, a female
WHITE-WINGED SCOTER on Lake Chelan, and the WHITE-BREASTED NUTHATCH which
was present for 2-3 weeks at Beach Grove Park in Delta, and posed
cooperatively for me one day. The latter was only my second record of this
species in 40+ years of birding in the Vancouver area. Hopefully, some of
these photos will be of interest to you.

Good luck and good birding,

Wayne C. Weber
