Subject: [Tweeters] Skein of 150+ geese over Capitol Hill,

On my way back from both Volunteer Park and Interlaken park I heard
and the (once I blocked out the sun) saw a skein of geese over
Capitol Hill, Seattle at 1015ish on Tuesday.

About 150+ geese in a broad (and every changing) V-ish formation
flying from the SE to the NW.

Altitude difficult to estimate but perhaps 1000 to 2000 feet.
Fortunately it's high pressure so northbound take offs out of Seatac
and aircraft have turned left or right before the get to CapHill.

My notes say: geese honking?! dark wings with slightly darker ends,
light (white?) bodies, dark tail, dark neck.

So Canada Geese or Brant with the dark tails saying Canada Geese are
most likley.

I'm used to seeing them sometimes in the evening/night in fall but
not daytime in spring.
