Never had much time to observe the birds in the yard here in Phinney Ridge until today. It's been quite active with 3 White-crowned Sparrows, 2 Pine Siskins, a dozen or so Bushtits (one with nesting material), a N. Flicker, an A. Crow carrying worms, an A. Robin stuffing it's bill with dried grasses, ~6 Yellow-rumped Warblers in the plum trees, a couple of starlings, one mammal - an oppossum out in the day digging up bulbs (which I am ok with as there are so many in the yard), 1 Junco, 3 Black-capped Chickadees (also a pair in the nest box outside the kitchen window). Note to self: stay home more often.

Happy birding.
