Happy Thursday Tweeters -

The baby killdeer have hatched! My neighbor watched them this am - one had it's head out of an egg and another was poking through, so he wandered away to let them all finish hatching on their own while mama was supervising it all.

He went back later and only saw two running around, but in the area on the way to out beach, it's a miracle he was even able to see those two. I came over and found one for certain, so took some pictures as both parents were being so great and displaying their little hearts out.

I left them ASAP so as not to tire them or stress them out any more than I already had.
