Hi Tweets,

First off, thanks to Connie, John, and Evan, for posting and finding the not so common birds at the Fill.
I arrived at the Fill just when the rain started around 8:00 am. After about 30 min of walking in the rain I could tell it was going to be a good day when the rainbow appeared from the east side of the Central Pond. The first sighting of note was an American Pipit on the East side of the Central Pond. I started walking north on the east side of the pond and a young lady heading west was pointing west. I stopped and she was pointing to a Western Kingbird on the dead tree at the north end of the pond (she hadn't seen the post). I started taking photo's and she asked if I was going to post them. I told her yes! Well the Kingbird sighting made my day. The rest of the day was gravy and pretty birdy. As I was beginning to leave, round 3:00 pm I spotted a Red Crossbill on Surber Street. It was too quick for me to get a photo. The rest of the days photo's are located at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/birdhouse_wa/sets/72157617150121667/<http://www.flickr.com/photos/birdhouse_wa/sets/72157617150121667/>
