We have had a female CALLIOPE HUMMINGBIRD coming to our feeder in western Skamania County for the last two days. Our first of the season VAUX'S SWIFTS were over the house yesterday.
After being alerted by a resident in the city of Washougal about some strange looking doves coming to his feeders near 8th and "C" Streets, I finally added the EUROPEAN COLLARED DOVE to my Clark County list. I saw three doves and heard one calling while I stood at that intersection. I was told that there are at least eight doves in the neighborhood (so far).
