Tweets,
Saturday afternoon I birded the flooded farm fields south of 204th Street in Kent, hoping to see the Blue-winged and Cinnamon Teal reported by Charlie Wright and Carol Schultz last week. I didn't see the Blue-winged and Cinnamon Teal or Wood Ducks, but back in the southeast corner of the flooded field I scoped a Black-necked Stilt. There are also Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, Solitary and Western Sandpipers, Killdeer, and lots of waterfowl: Canadian Geese, Mallards, Northern Pintails, Gadwalls, American Wigeons, Northern Shovelers and Green-winged Teal were abundant.
Best,
Jim Owens
