I first noted a male Calliope Hummingbird at my feeders yesterday afternoon - a lifer for me on my own deck!? I saw him perhaps another?4 times last evening and while closely monitoring the feeders from 845-9AM today?I spotted him another 3 times.? I have 8 hummingbird feeders with activity throughout the day - more concentrated in the evening though - and have noticed (as others have) more hummers this year.? This Calliope perches calmly to feed and seems less agitated than some of the Rufous.
