I visited Marymoor this morning. Took the usual loop - backwards.
Most notably; there were NO warblers other than Common Yellow-throats.
There were more Chestnut-backed Chickadees than usual. A pair of
Common Mergansers were swimming down the river apparently not scared
of humans or dogs. One Chipping Sparrow photographed at the pea Patch
- my first sighting of it in this park. It is obvious to me that it's
a lot easier to see many birds when there are seventeen pairs of
binoculars - not just my own. Next time I'll walk with the group....
