In the car today my son (11 years old...start 'em young) points out a
Red-Tailed perched in a tree. I asked him if he thought it was immature or
mature, he said immature. I asked him why he thought that. He said because
the chest area was brighter. I said that's not what I'd seen..I thought it
was much darker and cinnamon-colored. We went back and forth a little about
what we both thought we'd seen, and he finally admitted "It must have been a
pigmentation of my imagination."

Eleven. Pretty darn clever, I thought. :)
