For those of you interested in the Brants that wander through, I was able to get close enough to watch them bath, preen & squabble amongst themselves this morning. In a few pictures, I was able to spot a few banded ones, so I've posted them with their band colors & names if anyone is tracking them or their movements.
I saw three different bands on 5 birds:
Black -R8V & R7K - 2 geese paired and sticking close to each other
Blue - K (Heart)7 & E (Heart) R - 2 geese paired and sticking close to each other
Green - IEV - not sure on the first part of the band number because of it being in the water.
Here's the link to my Brants Set where I've sorted them with the newest first.

P.S. No sight of the baby Killdeer or one of the adults for a few days now. I think it's safe to say this clutch is a loss. :( On a happier note, we do seem to have one Red-breasted Merganser hanging out again this week.
