The planned 4/25 Trip was cancelled due to poor weather and sea conditions. Skipper Phil Anderson plans to offer a make-up trip for May 16 if there is sufficient interest to make a go of it. Please check the Westport Seabirds website for contact information. Migration should be going strong and who knows what might be out there. There are several recent reports of Manx Shearwater in Oregon and this has been a time of the year when they have been seen at Westport. This can be a good time for Tufted Puffin and Sabines Gull and they should be looking fine. Arctic Tern and Red Phalerope should be looked for among the regular pelagic species.
