I had a late start birding Sunrise area today (flat tire) so got there
in the heat of mid-day but saw a large herd (about 20, with young
kids) of Mountain Goats close to the trail at the top of Second
Burroughs, and a very close fly-over of a Prairie Falcon, with
multiple passes, plus a nice Kestrel flyover and numerous immature
Juncos, Horned Larks, Pipits. No luck on the Ptarmigans or the Rosy
Finches.
