This is in response to Bob Sundstrom's inquiry about Red Crossbills. I was
just up in Victoria, BC, at Rocky Point, which juts out into the strait of
Juan de Fuca. According to some of the local birders, Red Crossbills were
especially numerous this year. I was at a couple of other parks in the area
and the crossbills were always present.
