Hello Tweeters,
Yesterday I and Lauren W.birdied from Bottle Beach to Tokeland.The heat
weave was over,and it was quite pleasant,but overcast.We had quite few
Shorebird over all.wit Bottle Beach on high count.Disappointed was the trail
on Bottle beach,what runs along the beach ending up where you can enter the
beach
,and where the nice benches are.viewing the water and the creek.There where
we had few birds ,probable of the drastic change in temperatures.
The highlight of the trip was on Acosta the ADULT BLUE -WINGED TEAL &the 2
SNOWY PLOVERS found by Lauren
where he took photos of,

This 2 birds was on the side of the dried out ponds,(little past the
ponds)Many GULLS where roosting way in the back of the pond where there is
still water(A JUVENILE PEREGRINE
FALCON was attacking all the Shorebirds in the pond,but came out empty!!!!!!
