Ryan (and Tweeters),

I assume you meant you saw the KING EIDER, not COMMON EIDER at Ocean Shores?
Please, don't give us heart attacks!

Subject: [Tweeters] Shorebirds on Sunday

I thought I would share some photographs I took on the outer coast this past
sunday birding with Charlie Wright. It was a quick trip focusing mainly on
several spots at Ocean Shores and then Midway Beach.

the recent tab on the right has all photos from the past few weekends

We did see the female Common Eider at the Game Range accessed from the STP.
Shorebirding was great with the first juveniles of the year for both Charlie
and myself, 2 Semipalmated Sandpipers and more surprising 2 Common
Nighthawks flying around at Midway Beach.

Black Turnstone - 25
Surfbird - 80
Wandering Tattler - 9
Sanderling - 15

Ocean Shores Game Range
