Hunting at West Point y'day late pm was a beautiful dark Merlin. Perhaps a female/immature of the Black race. Breast had heavy blackish streaking, with some white dots on lower abdomen. No buff underlayer, that I could tell. Do we get Taiga form here and at this time of year? DH
