Tweets,
Another Eurasian Collared-Dove sighting that might be in a new location. I
spotted two on a wire between Camp Casey and Coupeville on Whidbey Island
July 27, 2009.

Subject: [Tweeters] Eurasian Collared-Doves, Grays Harbor Co, WA
Hi Tweets,
To go along with Bob Flores' birds in Pacific Co, I stumbled into two
different Eurasian Collared-Doves in Grays Harbor Co today. One was 1 mi.
west of Copalis Crossing on the south side of Copalis Beach Rd in front of a
house with feeders (across the street from a Jehovah's Witnesses). Another
flew north over Hwy 12 near the Satsop exit. These were my first in
Washington (I am proud to have held off seeing the inevitable until now :-)
Off Griffiths-Priday State Park, there was a steady stream of southbound
Sooty Shearwaters between 11 and noon. I estimated their abundance to be
about 1500 per hour (25 per minute).
